Charter
Mission Statement:
Achieve the best balance of artisans, hard core PVPers, professional endgame raiders and casual players in a solid and loyal guild where all members contribute to the guild’s success and camaraderie and have fun doing it.
What is expected of our clan members:
Unless you are on a team we expect little more than a positive attitude and team spirit. Help out when you can, be loyal to your brothers and have fun. Most of All defend your brothers. This is a PvP server and everyone will be responsible for hte defense of the guild.
Raid and PvP times:
We will be recruiting for 2 Raid teams (A.M. & P.M.) Exact times are yet to be determined. We will also have a PVP team that might alter nights with the P.M. Raid team so that member can join both. GvG events will be open to all members and times will very due to vulnerablity windows.
Removal from guild:
You will be removed from the guild for constantly breaking MANDRILL LAW, not logging in for 60 days, leaching, bitching, or giving the guild a bad reputation by your words or actions.
Removal from the teams:
Each team will have it's own code of conduct, skill and ethics that will be determined and enforced by the Prefect of the team. You will be expected to have an acceptable attendance record as well as continue to further your skills and follow MANDRILL LAW. You will also be expected to follow orders without hesitation during events.
Rules for Alts:
Alt invitations will only be available for those members in good standing after they have completed the probation period. Only one Alt will be given an invite. The player has the right to chose which alt he will have in the guild and can change this at any time. Alts must attain Level 20 before receiving an invite. Alts will be removed if not played in 30 days. Alts can not hold any rank above Venator (standard non-probation member) unless there is an extreme shortage of able players. Alts can not take a place on a Raid/PVP unless there is special exception by the Prefect do to severe need of a certain class. Mains will always take priority over any alt. It is our intention that every main in the guild be completely outfitted before alts are given loot. Once an alt attains level 80, you may add an additional alt. **As this is not a Raid only guild and we wish everyone to be able to interact, we are thinking of modifying this constraint so that all players will have full use of guild resources reguardless of which character they are on.
Rules for Mains:
If you join a Raid or PvP team with a character you must reapply to the team if you wish to change that character. We will outfit Mains before alts.
Alt only in the Guild:
We are only accepting Mains and their Alts at this time.
Promotions:
Promotions will be based on merit and participation in the guild. This will include your past gaming experiences with guilds before Clan of the Mandrill, how well you work with your team members, how you do at receiving orders and giving commands. We also take in account how well you treat others in the game and on the forums, how you present yourself to the guild and other guilds in game. Finally, we take in account the time you have been with us including participation in events and forums. The actual decision on promotions will be down to the Emperor on recommendation of the Senate.
Rules to holding Rank:
A Character can hold several ranks, such as Senator and Raid Prefect. However a player can not have 2 characters holding separate rank above Venator at this time.
Participation:
All members above the rank of Venator must be active in the guild. To be considered active in guild, you must participate in leadership, events, forums, and promote the interests of the guild as you are part of a community. If you feel you can no longer fulfill your commitment step aside and allow another to take your place. This guild is chartered so that players of different levels of involvement can join but only those dedicated to the clan will hold positions of authority and thus help dictate the future of the organization.
Follow Orders:
If you wish to apply for one of the Raid or PvP teams you must be willing an able to follow orders. Orders given during a Raid or PvP event must be followed without hesitation. If you have issues with this the teams are not for you, however orders are never intended to disrespect or belittle others in the guild. Here we are all brothers and all equals.
